F5 Load Balancer Engineer (LTM & GTM)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced F5 Load Balancer Engineer to design, configure, and maintain F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM/DNS solutions across production and non-production environments. The role involves close collaboration with network, security, infrastructure and application teams to ensure high availability and optimal traffic distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and manage F5 BIG-IP LTM components such as virtual servers, pools, members, profiles, monitors, SNAT/NAT and persistence settings.
• Implement and maintain F5 GTM/DNS for global traffic management and DNS-based load balancing.
• Handle SSL/TLS termination, certificate management and iRule development.
• Perform upgrades, patching, backups, and configuration synchronization.
• Monitor performance, capacity and availability; troubleshoot network, application, DNS and load-balancing issues.
• Design HA and failover configurations and support disaster-recovery processes.
• Maintain technical documentation, diagrams and configuration standards.
• Participate in incident, problem and change management workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM/DNS.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant F5 certifications (e.g., F5‑CA, F5‑CTS) are a plus.
