Faculty Member – Physical Education (General Studies)

About the role

Prince Sultan University seeks a dynamic male faculty member for its General Studies Department. The position combines teaching, research, and service to foster student wellness and academic excellence in Physical Education.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Physical Education and related disciplines.
• Promote physical fitness, wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices among students.
• Supervise and organize practical sessions, sports activities, and student athletic events.
• Mentor students in academic, professional, and athletic development.
• Participate actively in departmental, college, and university service activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop, assess, and enhance the PE curriculum and programs.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a closely related field (completed by appointment).
• Demonstrated effectiveness in university‑level teaching.
• Evidence of scholarly or professional engagement (research, coaching certifications, publications, or program development).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic community.
• Commitment to inclusivity, student well‑being, and a supportive learning environment.
