Family Medicine & Diabetology Consultant (Telemedicine)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Consultant to provide comprehensive family medicine care with a primary focus on diabetology through telemedicine. The role involves delivering evidence‑based, patient‑centered care to adult and pediatric patients in a virtual setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow‑up for diabetes, metabolic disorders, and other acute or chronic conditions.
• Perform comprehensive clinical evaluations, including medical history, virtual physical exam, medication review, and interpretation of lab results.
• Develop individualized, evidence‑based management plans covering glycemic optimization, lifestyle modification, preventive care, and specialist referrals.
• Collaborate with endocrinologists, dietitians, diabetes educators, pharmacists, and primary care providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Utilize digital health tools such as remote patient monitoring and telemedicine platforms while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Promote population health, value‑based care, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with telehealth regulations, ethical guidelines, and quality assurance standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification or equivalent in Family Medicine.
• Demonstrated experience in diabetes management and metabolic disorders.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality care remotely and work independently.
• Strong communication skills for patient and multidisciplinary team interactions.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of telehealth regulations and best practices.
