Field Service Operations Specialist

About the role

As a Field Service Operations Specialist at Alcon, you will support the delivery of medical-device services across Saudi Arabia. You will manage service contracts, coordinate equipment installations and preventive maintenance, and oversee inventory to ensure uninterrupted service for customers while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate service contract documentation and support case management.
• Coordinate new and demo equipment installations and oversee preventive maintenance schedules.
• Manage spare-parts inventory, monitor stock levels, handle replenishment, invoicing and product returns.
• Perform specialized operational analyses, support efficiency projects, and drive continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Alcon quality standards, SOPs and regulatory requirements, and support audits and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Biomedical Engineering.
• Experience in medical-device service operations.
• Strong proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, logistics, finance and commercial staff.
