Financial Business Analyst

About the role

The Financial Business Analyst is responsible for independently preparing, analysing, and improving management reporting across the Group and its business units. The role owns monthly P&L reporting, budgeting and forecasting support, performance analysis, and management presentations, turning financial and operational data into clear business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly P&L and management reports, reconcile to the general ledger, and deliver performance summaries for senior leadership.
• Support annual budgets, rolling forecasts and scenario modelling, reviewing assumptions and tracking actual performance against targets.
• Analyse revenue, gross profit, EBITDA, margins and other drivers, identifying root‑cause variances and recommending actions.
• Monitor working capital and cash‑flow drivers, validate collections/payments and coordinate with Treasury, Supply Chain and Accounting.
• Automate recurring reports and dashboards using advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI and integrate Dynamics 365 data, while maintaining controls and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 4‑7 years of experience in FP&A, management reporting or commercial finance, preferably in a multi‑company environment.
• Professional qualification (CMA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, FMVA) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (financial modelling, Power Query, pivot tables).
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365.
• Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualisation.
• Use of AI‑enabled tools to accelerate analysis and reporting.
