Financial Director

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Director to lead the accounting, reporting and financial governance functions of a growing real‑estate group. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee all accounting operations, ensure IFRS compliance, manage tax and zakat obligations and drive IPO readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting cycles (AR, AP, GL) and ensure accurate, timely month‑end close.
• Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Maintain the Chart of Accounts and support audit schedules for management, Audit Committee and Board.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, Zakat and RET filings and manage related audits with ZATCA.
• Design and implement accounting controls, ICFR, SOD and DOA frameworks.
• Lead ERP optimisation, system integration and automation initiatives, including Power BI and AI‑enabled processes.
• Support due‑diligence for acquisitions, investments and IPO transactions.
• Develop and manage the accounting team through performance management and succession planning.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in IFRS and consolidated financial reporting.
• Extensive experience in real‑estate development or long‑term project finance.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting cycles, tax and zakat compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion, SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong skills in Power BI and AI‑enabled financial automation.
• Solid understanding of internal controls, ICFR frameworks and IPO due‑diligence.
