Fleet Mechanic – Diesel Vehicle Specialist

About the role
We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to maintain and service our diesel‑powered fleet vehicles. The successful candidate will ensure that all vehicles remain safe, reliable, and ready for operation.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel engines and fleet vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Repair or replace defective mechanical components.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Follow HSE standards and workshop safety procedures.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime.
Required profile
- Diploma or vocational training in Diesel Mechanics.
- 2–5 years of experience in diesel vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Ability to read technical manuals and work effectively in a team.
Required skills
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Expertise in diesel engine maintenance and repair.
