Floral & Plant Specialist

About the role

The Floral & Plant Specialist is responsible for creating beautiful floral displays and maintaining the hotel's landscaped areas to the highest luxury standards. This role supports guest experience across public spaces, restaurants, banquets and guest rooms while ensuring safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, trim, water and arrange flowers for display; receive and log deliveries, rejecting any that do not meet quality standards.
• Design custom floral arrangements for public areas, dining outlets, banquets and guest rooms, and deliver them to the required locations.
• Supervise daily landscape and gardening activities, monitor plant health, irrigation, fertilization, pruning and lawn care.
• Inspect and maintain irrigation systems, coordinate repairs, and manage inventory of plants, tools and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized storeroom and follow end‑of‑day shop cleaning checklists.
• Report safety incidents, follow all safety procedures, and complete required safety training and certifications.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 month of relevant experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb, standing for long periods, and working on stairs or ramps.
