About the role
Join Marriott as a Guest Service Expert and help create memorable dining experiences for guests. You will be responsible for a range of front‑of‑house duties, ensuring service is smooth, safe and aligned with brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Set tables, clean work areas and supplies, and maintain a tidy service environment.
- Communicate orders and special requests with the kitchen staff.
- Interact with guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and handle transactions.
- Manage the menu by reading and visually verifying information.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 25 lb unaided (up to 50 lb with assistance), and work on sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification needed.
