Fund Services Trainee – Fund Accounting & Operations

About the role

FundRock is seeking a motivated trainee to join its Fund Services team in Saudi Arabia. You will support fund accounting operations, work closely with asset and property managers, and help ensure timely and accurate delivery of client deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support across Fund Services functions, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Review work performed by offshore teams and verify its accuracy.
• Submit Net Asset Value (NAV) to clients within agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Ensure compliance with fund terms, regulatory requirements, and anti‑money‑laundering rules.
• Gather data from close‑ended asset managers, property managers, and real‑estate developers to support fund operations.
• Monitor cash flows to maintain sufficient liquidity for investments and distributions.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Uphold firm policies, deputise for the line manager when required, and communicate issues promptly.

Required profile

• Strong educational background, preferably in accounting or finance.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt work approach to client deliverables.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a pressured environment and solve complex problems.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including macro development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
