General Director – International School (Riyadh)

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished General Director to lead a prestigious international school in Riyadh. The role carries full responsibility for the school’s strategic direction, academic excellence, operational efficiency, and financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the school’s strategic plan to achieve institutional objectives.
• Provide executive oversight across academic, operational, administrative, and financial functions.
• Lead and develop the senior leadership team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure high standards of educational quality and an excellent student and parent experience.
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and relevant authorities.
• Drive continuous improvement, institutional development, and sustainable growth.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and policies.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in the education sector with significant leadership experience.
• Proven track record in leading and managing international schools.
• Previous senior leadership role such as School Director, General Director, Head of School, Executive Principal, or Education Director.
• Experience overseeing academic, operational, administrative, and financial functions.
• Strong strategic planning, performance management, and financial management capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Fluent English essential.
