General Manager – Legal

About the role

The General Manager – Legal will lead the legal function for a fast‑growing industrial services company in Jubail. Reporting to the CEO and CFO, you will shape dispute strategy, protect commercial interests, and ensure robust corporate governance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation, court cases, commercial disputes, claims, recoveries, settlements and overall dispute strategy.
• Review and advise on high‑value, high‑risk contracts such as service agreements, EPC contracts, procurement contracts, NDAs, MOUs and settlement agreements.
• Lead contract review frameworks, legal risk assessments, deviation sheets and support contract negotiations.
• Oversee external counsel, evaluate pleadings, case strategies, legal notices, court submissions and expert reports.
• Prepare management‑level litigation reports, dispute dashboards, legal exposure summaries and action plans for senior leadership.
• Support corporate governance, board and committee matters, shareholder resolutions, regulatory filings and company secretarial tasks.
• Advise business units on legal, regulatory, compliance and reputational risks.
• Develop legal templates, standard terms, checklists, procedures and documentation standards.

Required profile

• 15+ years of legal experience with senior in‑house leadership roles.
• Professional law qualification; additional arbitration, corporate governance or compliance credentials are a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial services, construction, oil & gas, EPC or related sectors preferred.
• Strong understanding of Saudi legal, regulatory, corporate and labor environments.
