About the role
We are looking for a Saudi national Genetic Counselor with active SCFHS and MOH licenses to guide patients through genetic testing, assess risks, and deliver compassionate, clear communication regarding results and recommendations. The consultant will assess patient histories, identify inherited risk factors, and support patients throughout the testing process. Working closely with laboratory and clinical teams, the role ensures accurate interpretation of genetic tests and provides clear recommendations to patients.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑test genetic counseling
- Assess patient history and inherited risk factors
- Communicate test results and recommendations
- Collaborate with laboratory and clinical teams
Required profile
- Degree in Genetic Counseling or related certification
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills
- Experience in clinical genetics preferred
- Saudi nationality (required)
- Active SCFHS and MOH licenses required
