Government Relations Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Government Relations Officer to manage our interactions with Saudi ministries and local authorities. The role ensures seamless compliance with labor regulations, licensing requirements, and Saudization targets while acting as the primary point of contact for all government‑related platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and operate critical government portals (Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher, GOSI, Mudad, MHRSD) as the main power user.
• Handle Iqama issuance, renewal, profession changes, transfers, and exit/re‑entry visa processes.
• Monitor Nitaqat status continuously to maintain the company within safe operational zones.
• Draft, upload, and authenticate employment contracts through Qiwa.
• Manage renewals and updates for commercial registrations, chamber of commerce memberships, municipal licences and civil‑defence certificates.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with ministry representatives and municipal officials to accelerate company transactions.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of specialized experience as a corporate Government Relations Officer or Public Relations Officer.
• Independent, expert‑level proficiency with Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI and Mudad platforms.
• In‑depth knowledge of Saudi labour law, Wage Protection System (WPS) filing and relevant ministry guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve compliance gaps, unblock processes and avoid penalties.
• Fluent Arabic (written and spoken) and professional English communication skills.
