Government Relations Officer – Riyadh

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Government Relations Officer to join our Riyadh team. The role ensures compliance with Saudi regulations and maintains strong relationships with government bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the company and all Saudi ministries and government departments.
• Manage visas, work permits, Iqamas and other immigration documentation for employees.
• Prepare, submit and track applications, renewals and cancellations for Commercial Registration, business licences and chamber of commerce certificates.
• Monitor changes in Saudi labour, immigration and corporate laws and advise management on compliance.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with officials at key agencies.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudisation (Nitaqat) requirements.
• Operate government e‑portals such as Absher, Muqeem, GOSI and Mudad.
• Represent the company at government offices and official proceedings.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Government Relations Officer or Public Relations Officer (PRO) in Saudi Arabia.
• In‑depth knowledge of Saudi labour, immigration and corporate regulations.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• High level of professionalism, integrity and discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using Saudi government e‑portals (Absher, Muqeem, GOSI, Mudad).
