Government Relations Specialist – HR Operations

About the role

The Government Relations Specialist will manage all government‑related transactions for a leading food and beverage company in Saudi Arabia, ensuring full compliance with local regulations. This role bridges HR operations and government authorities, handling visas, permits, and Saudization requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage government relations through Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher Business, GOSI, and Balady platforms.
• Process and renew work permits and Iqamas for employees.
• Apply for recruitment visas and support overseas hiring activities.
• Coordinate with recruitment agencies and government bodies for international recruitment.
• Monitor Nitaqat (Saudization) status and ensure compliance.
• Handle employee transfers, sponsorship transfers, and other labor‑related services.
• Renew municipal and other business licenses.
• Monitor and resolve government violations and fines.
• Maintain accurate employee records in line with Saudi Labor Law.
• Collaborate with internal departments to complete government‑related processes on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in Government Relations or HR Operations.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law.
• Hands‑on experience with Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher Business, GOSI, Balady, and MHRSD platforms.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
