About the role

The Group CEO – Consumer & Retail will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for a multinational organization, driving growth and market leadership across consumer and retail segments. This senior executive role requires deep insight into evolving consumer trends, retail dynamics, and operational efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with the company’s mission and vision.
• Set ambitious financial, operational and customer‑centric goals to boost performance.
• Lead senior managers to foster an innovative culture that encourages creativity and risk‑taking.
• Oversee production, supply‑chain and retail operations to maximise efficiency, quality and service delivery.
• Leverage data analytics to understand consumer behaviour and enhance customer experience.
• Engage with investors, board members and other stakeholders to build trust and shared success.
• Drive digital transformation and e‑commerce initiatives across the organisation.
• Ensure robust corporate governance, compliance and risk‑management frameworks.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of progressive executive experience in consumer and retail sectors.
• Proven track record of leading large, diverse teams and managing multi‑million‑dollar budgets.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, P&L accountability and budget control.
• Advanced academic qualifications in business administration or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and crisis‑management capabilities.
