Head of Business Development - Middle East

About the role

Alpaca is seeking a Head of Business Development for the Middle East to lead commercial and strategic expansion across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC. You will be responsible for building the company’s regional presence from the ground up, connecting fintechs, exchanges, brokerages, banks, regulators and government institutions with Alpaca’s brokerage infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Own relationships, deals and ecosystem presence across the Middle East.
• Drive commercial expansion and strategic partnerships with fintechs, exchanges, banks and regulators.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product and executive leadership.
• Shape and execute go‑to‑market strategies for digital asset and tokenized equity services.
• Represent Alpaca in regional industry events and regulatory forums.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of experience in business development, institutional sales or strategic partnerships within financial services or fintech.
• Deep understanding of blockchain‑based settlement, digital asset market structure and tokenization.
• Proven track record of building relationships with banks, brokers, exchanges and regulators in the GCC.
• Strong leadership and ability to operate autonomously in a fast‑growing environment.
