Head of Finance – Riyadh, KSA

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Finance to join the MENA Leadership Team of a fast‑growing, multinational real‑estate, hospitality and branded‑residences operator. Based in Riyadh, the role combines strategic finance planning with hands‑on operational ownership, reporting directly to regional leadership and collaborating with the global finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with regional growth objectives, overseeing forecasting, budgeting and long‑range planning.
• Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for leadership, investors and stakeholders.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, manage month‑end close within five business days, and prepare audit documentation for KSA entities.
• Own a 13‑week rolling cash‑flow model, manage banking relationships, KYC and treasury operations.
• Build and maintain a driver‑based operating model linking unit economics to site P&L and regional consolidation.
• Conduct scenario planning (pricing, staffing, capex) and produce weekly MENA cash and KPI packs.
• Lead capital allocation decisions, support fundraising, and structure optimal capital stacks for regional initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOCPA/ZATCA, VAT and e‑invoicing, and manage relationships with auditors, regulators and tax advisors.
• Recruit, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team and partner with Operations, Product, Development, Legal and People functions.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership in high‑growth, multinational environments.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA or SOCPA with deep IFRS and SOCPA/ZATCA exposure.
• Hands‑on treasury and cash‑management experience.
• Proven ability to deliver month‑end close in ≤ 5 business days and manage audit processes.
