Head of Human Resources (Saudi National)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead the HR function of a leading educational institute in Riyadh. The role will shape people strategy, drive workforce development, and ensure compliance with Saudi labor regulations and Saudization targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the institute’s overall HR strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Advise senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, talent management and employee engagement.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, compensation and employee relations.
• Lead Saudization initiatives and ensure full compliance with Saudi Labor Law and HR regulations.
• Continuously improve HR policies, procedures and internal processes.
• Build talent acquisition and retention strategies for academic and administrative functions.
• Drive performance management and leadership development programs.
• Strengthen organizational culture, employee engagement and internal communication.
• Manage HR reporting, workforce analytics, budgets and key performance indicators.
• Lead and develop the HR team, fostering a high‑performance, people‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Management or related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 10 + years of progressive HR experience, including senior HR leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of Saudi labor law, Saudization requirements and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and drive strategic HR initiatives.
