Health Representative – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

The Health Representative will promote Pfizer’s Hospital Category products across the Eastern Zone, building relationships with physicians, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to increase product awareness and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Visit physicians and healthcare providers to discuss disease management using Pfizer products.
• Distribute product samples, marketing literature, and clinical trial information to support informed decision‑making.
• Gather feedback from key opinion leaders, physicians and pharmacists and relay it to sales and marketing teams.
• Provide approved product information, including usage, dosage and side‑effects, to healthcare professionals.
• Work to include Pfizer products on institutional formularies.
• Monitor stock levels, consumption and ordering processes, especially in government and institutional settings.
• Participate in community awareness programs, seminars, exhibitions and AV activities.
• Assist in selecting local speakers and organizing regional conferences and workshops.
• Report visits, activities and market insights using MI tools.
• Prepare short‑term action plans, update customer lists and maintain strong advocacy relationships.
• Execute marketing and medical department initiatives, providing regular sales and market feedback reports.

Required profile

• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, with a focus on hospital‑category products.
• Ability to manage a defined geographical territory and achieve budgetary targets.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with physicians, pharmacists and key opinion leaders.
• Proactive approach to gathering market intelligence and providing feedback to internal teams.
• Capability to coordinate with marketing, medical and sales management to align activities with business objectives.
