About the role
The Safety Officer supports and maintains a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements. The role involves identifying potential hazards, monitoring workplace safety, and promoting safe work practices to prevent incidents and accidents.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with HSE rules, regulations, and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify workplace hazards.
- Conduct site inspections and safety audits.
- Investigate incidents and accidents and prepare reports.
- Monitor emergency response procedures and conduct toolbox talks.
Required profile
- Knowledge of HSE rules, regulations, and standards.
- Understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification.
- Ability to conduct site inspections and safety audits.
- Experience in incident/accident investigation and reporting.
