Healthcare Nutrition Specialist – Medical Representative

About the role

Danone MENA is seeking a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (Medical Representative) to be based in Qassim, Saudi Arabia. You will promote Specialized Nutrition products, build scientific relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), and drive market share for the brand in your territory.

Key responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics and private practices regularly to establish and maintain scientific‑based relationships with HCPs.
• Present clinical data, product information and visual/audio materials to influence HCP prescribing behavior.
• Identify business opportunities, develop action plans and execute a weekly call cycle in coordination with the manager.
• Monitor competitor activities, gather market intelligence and recommend counter‑measures.
• Prepare and submit promotional activity reports, ensuring compliance with WHO and local regulations for infant formula.
• Organise and conduct seminars, nutrition‑education events and medical detailing sessions.
• Maintain daily database updates and follow up on HCP queries or complaints.
• Track and achieve quantitative and qualitative KPIs on a daily, monthly and yearly basis.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background with the ability to discuss clinical studies and product benefits.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with HCPs and key opinion leaders.
• Proactive attitude, able to identify opportunities and act on market insights.
• Commitment to ethical standards and regulatory compliance.
