Hospitality Assistant (Butler)

About the role

The Hospitality Assistant (also referred to as a Butler or Hospitality Attendant) provides premium service to guests, executives, and VIPs within a hotel or corporate environment. The role focuses on serving food and beverages, preparing dining and meeting spaces, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food, beverages, tea, coffee and refreshments to guests and management in a professional manner.
• Prepare and arrange dining areas, meeting rooms and hospitality facilities before and after use.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pantry, kitchenettes, dining areas and service equipment.
• Monitor hospitality supplies, report shortages and ensure stock levels are adequate.
• Assist in setting up meetings, events and special functions.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
• Handle hospitality requests promptly and courteously.
• Collect used dishes and utensils, ensure they are cleaned and stored properly.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while serving executives and VIP guests.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Perform other hospitality‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel services, catering or a similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to communicate in basic English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Professional appearance and strong customer‑service orientation.
