Host/Hostess – Luxury Resort Dining

About the role

The Host/Hostess warmly welcomes and seats guests at FAENA dining outlets, ensuring a smooth and elegant arrival experience. This role manages reservations, coordinates table allocation, and sets the tone for exceptional guest service in line with the resort’s luxury hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations, waitlists and table assignments accurately.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus and ensure seamless seating.
• Coordinate table flow with service and kitchen teams to optimise capacity.
• Monitor dining area readiness, cleanliness and ambiance.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests and seating preferences.
• Support VIP recognition and personalised service.
• Address guest complaints calmly and escalate when necessary.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
• 1–2 years experience in guest service, front‑desk or F&B hosting.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.

Required skills

• Reservation system handling.
• POS/booking platform usage.
