About the role
The Host/Hostess warmly welcomes and seats guests at FAENA dining outlets, ensuring a smooth and elegant arrival experience. This role manages reservations, coordinates table allocation, and sets the tone for exceptional guest service in line with the resort’s luxury hospitality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations, waitlists and table assignments accurately.
- Escort guests to tables, present menus and ensure seamless seating.
- Coordinate table flow with service and kitchen teams to optimise capacity.
- Monitor dining area readiness, cleanliness and ambiance.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests and seating preferences.
- Support VIP recognition and personalised service.
- Address guest complaints calmly and escalate when necessary.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
- 1–2 years experience in guest service, front‑desk or F&B hosting.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
Required skills
- Reservation system handling.
- POS/booking platform usage.
