HR Director – Riyadh

About the role

The Human Resources Director will lead all HR functions for a transportation and field‑operations company based in Riyadh’s Second Industrial City. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures that workforce planning, recruitment, development and compliance align with the organization’s operational goals and Saudi labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement HR strategies that support the transportation and field‑operations business.
• Oversee local and international recruitment, workforce planning and vacancy management across multiple branches and sites.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in full compliance with Saudi Labour Law, including management of residency permits (Iqama) and avoidance of undocumented contracts.
• Manage performance appraisal, employee motivation, succession planning and training programmes, especially for operational roles such as drivers and field supervisors.
• Administer employee affairs, residency (Iqama), social insurance (GOSI) and payroll processes.
• Foster healthy employee relations, resolve labour disputes and ensure a stable work environment.
• Collaborate with operational departments to assess HR needs and provide timely support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Labour Law, Qiwa platform and GOSI regulations.
• Previous experience in an operational, logistics or transportation environment is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
