HR Senior Officer – Talent Management & Employee Relations

About the role

The HR Senior Officer will lead talent retention, employee engagement, and workforce planning initiatives within a not‑for‑profit environment. You will apply internal policies, interpret labor regulations, and support strategic HR decisions through data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate talent retention strategies to reduce turnover and improve engagement.
• Monitor, collect and analyze HR data, producing reports that guide decision‑making.
• Manage employee relations, ensuring policies and frameworks are up‑to‑date and compliant with labor laws.
• Conduct manpower planning, forecasting future staffing needs and assessing current workforce composition.
• Develop and deliver onboarding, performance management and learning solutions in collaboration with subject‑matter experts.
• Draft, amend and administer employee job offers and maintain knowledge of employment contracts.
• Measure employee engagement, identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the not‑for‑profit business environment and HR best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and plan work to meet short‑ and long‑term objectives.
• Proficiency in using standard office software and HR reporting tools.
• Knowledge of relevant labor laws, relocation, visa and nationalization requirements.
