HSE Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental activities on large‑scale Tier III/IV and hyperscale data‑center projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves developing and implementing the project HSE Management Plan, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and international standards, and fostering a strong safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor the HSE Management Plan for the data‑center project.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, client requirements and international standards.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary HSE team, providing site coverage and guidance.
• Monitor subcontractor HSE performance, conduct audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee high‑risk activities such as MEP works, lifting, electrical work, work at height, confined spaces, hot works, excavation and commissioning.
• Coordinate HSE requirements during testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing and handover.
• Report HSE KPIs and performance to senior management and maintain communication with client, consultants and contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field (preferred).
• 10–15 years of HSE experience, including 5–8 years in a senior HSE leadership role on EPC, industrial or mission‑critical projects.
• Minimum 3–5 years of direct experience on Tier III/IV or hyperscale data‑center projects covering construction, MEP installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Proven ability to manage large multidisciplinary HSE teams (20–100 + personnel) and multiple subcontractors.

Required skills

• OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Industry certification.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent Level 6 Occupational Safety & Health Management qualification.
