Human Resources Director – Hotel

About the role

The Human Resources Director will lead HR strategy and initiatives for a premier hotel, ensuring compliance, fostering a positive culture, and supporting the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. You will partner closely with the General Manager and senior leadership to address all people‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Create programmes that promote a positive work environment for all employees.
• Support and administer the annual team‑member satisfaction survey.
• Educate and train managers on HR disciplines to boost productivity and performance.
• Conduct new‑team‑member orientation and onboarding.
• Oversee accurate maintenance of personnel files and employee records.
• Ensure hiring standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed.
• Build strong relationships with external contacts and partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum 4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Professional HR designation preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all HR matters.
• Fluency in the local language and English.
