Human Resources Specialist – Dammam Yard

About the role

canasa is seeking an HR Specialist to manage people operations for its Dammam yard. This full‑time, on‑site position covers the complete employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to payroll, statutory filings and training.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process payroll on schedule, including overtime, deductions, advances and final settlements.
• Register employees and file contributions through GOSI, Qiwa and related labour platforms, keeping statutory records current and accurate.
• Post open roles, screen applications, schedule interviews, and ensure each new hire receives a contract, PPE briefing and a complete personnel file.
• Draft, issue and renew employment contracts, and maintain records covering leave, warnings, certificates and expiry dates.
• Coordinate Iqama, sponsorship changes and labour‑office matters with management and the PRO, raising issues before they affect the employee or the company.
• Arrange induction, safety briefings and skills training, retaining attendance and certificates on file.
• Carry out interviews, training, handovers and payroll close on site at the Dammam yard.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in HR, payroll or personnel administration in Saudi Arabia, including a full payroll cycle and GOSI filing.
• Working knowledge of Saudi Labour Law, GOSI, Qiwa and employment contracts.
• Experience in a recycling yard, logistics or industrial company is preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Demonstrated discretion handling salaries, Iqama details and private employee files.
• Valid, transferable Saudi Iqama.
