HVAC Technician – Riyadh (Saudi National)

About the role

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all mechanical and refrigeration equipment within the Fairmont Ramla hotel in Riyadh. The role covers chillers, air handling units, fan coils, cold rooms, and related plumbing and electrical systems. The technician will work on a rotating shift schedule and be part of the hotel’s fire intervention team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and service chillers, cooling water pumps and associated water treatment systems.
• Inspect, repair and adjust air handling units, fan coils and all air terminals, grills and vents.
• Service cold rooms, refrigerators, ice‑maker machines and minibar units according to the maintenance program.
• Perform routine checks on plumbing and electrical installations in the A/M and chiller rooms.
• Monitor and maintain exhaust fans, extractors, ventilators and expansion tanks.
• Record daily maintenance orders, log sheets and report any defects or abnormal readings.
• Participate in preventive maintenance plans and respond to urgent repair requests.
• Serve as a member of the hotel fire‑intervention team.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a diploma in HVAC or a related field.
• 2–5 years of HVAC maintenance experience, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Ability to work rotational shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong teamwork orientation and commitment to health and safety standards.
