Inbound Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Inbound Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing the flow of goods from suppliers to our facilities, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of shipments while maintaining compliance with import/export regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect shipping requests from the Purchasing team and assign forwarders.
• Coordinate and monitor inbound shipments, track status, and resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Verify shipping documents, issue Saber certificates, and forward documents to brokers.
• Oversee the customs clearance process and ensure accurate receipt of goods.
• Collaborate with the Inventory team to prioritize receiving activities and investigate damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments.
• Work closely with procurement and planning to guarantee product availability.
• Monitor forwarder and broker performance and raise payment requests to Finance.
• Prepare performance reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in English and strong Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of logistics processes and shipping/clearance documentation.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
