Incoming Quality Senior Supervisor

About the role

The Incoming Quality Senior Supervisor ensures that all incoming materials, components, and assemblies meet Lucid’s quality standards before they enter production. This role combines hands‑on inspection with team leadership to maintain safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example in adhering to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and mandatory PPE usage.
• Promote a clean, organized work environment following 6S and Lucid Production System standards.
• Train, coach, and develop a team of Incoming Quality Inspectors.
• Set daily goals, monitor progress, and maintain strong team engagement.
• Manage inspection activities across Customer Acceptance Line workstations.
• Perform visual, dimensional, functional, and documentation checks on incoming parts according to inspection plans.
• Verify part numbers, revisions, quantities, packaging, labeling, traceability, and certificates.
• Use appropriate inspection tools, gauges, and measuring equipment, applying defined sampling plans.
• Record inspection results in SAP, identify non‑conforming items, and initiate containment actions.
• Escalate supplier or material quality issues to Quality, Logistics, and Supplier Quality teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising quality inspection teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of EHS practices and 6S methodology.
• Ability to enforce safety standards and foster a positive work culture.
• Excellent communication skills for coaching and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• SAP for recording inspection data.
• Proficiency with inspection tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
• Understanding of sampling plans and inspection frequencies.
• Familiarity with 6S standards and Lucid Production System.
