Indirect Tax Manager (VAT/GST)

About the role

PwC is hiring a Manager for its Indirect Tax practice in Riyadh, within its Tax line of service. The role advises clients on local and overseas tax matters and acts as a strategic consultant on business analysis, indirect tax management, dispute resolution and global enterprise tax solutions. The team helps clients optimise cash flow and reduce risk through indirect tax challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs and act as a strategic consultant on business analysis and indirect tax management.
• Support clients with indirect taxation for global, regional and domestic projects, as well as restructuring and reporting VAT projects.
• Work as part of a team solving complex business issues from strategy to execution.
• Coach others, recognise their strengths and encourage ownership of their personal development.
• Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build meaningful recommendations, using data and stakeholder views to inform decisions.
• Develop a point of view on key global trends and their impact on clients, and simplify complex messages.
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Required profile

• Management level position; the PwC Professional framework applies, covering skills such as coaching, consensus building and ethical conduct.
• Willingness to work with a work visa sponsorship and obtain government clearance.
