Senior Associate - Accounting Advisory (Riyadh)

About the role

PwC's Accounting Advisory team in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Riyadh-based team. The team advises government-related entities, corporates and family businesses on complex accounting and reporting matters. You will support team managers on complex engagements, work mainly in the Riyadh office and collaborate with colleagues across Saudi Arabia and the Middle Region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist team managers in delivering complex accounting advisory engagements for a variety of clients
• Build and maintain relationships with key client staff in a professional and confident way
• Manage multiple projects at once, balancing tasks and commitments
• Apply strong technical accounting skills in a commercial context and give practical, commercial advice to clients
• Conduct in-depth research on complex matters, prepare technical papers for senior team members and apply critical thinking
• Work closely with other PwC lines of service such as tax, legal and deals
• Develop relationships with internal PwC colleagues and client staff

Required profile

• Saudi national
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business studies, accounting or finance
• Mandatory qualification: ACA, ACCA or CPA
• 3 to 5 years of audit or other relevant experience in a Big 4 firm; accounting advisory experience and GCC experience are beneficial
• Fluent English and Arabic, with excellent verbal and written communication
• Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia, the Middle East and worldwide, up to 60%
• Visa sponsorship available
