About the role
The Instrumentation & Control Technician will maintain, install, overhaul and modify instrumentation and control systems for the Rumah 1 CCGT Power Plant, ensuring reliability and compliance with HSE and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on instrumentation and control equipment according to schedule and NOMAC procedures.
- Respond to failures, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair or replace components such as control valves and transmitters, and update maintenance logs.
- Monitor system conditions, report non‑conformances, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Technical certificate or Associate’s Diploma in Instrument Engineering.
- 3‑5 years of experience in instrumentation and control maintenance in a plant environment.
- Knowledge of HSE and quality standards, and ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and engineers.
Required skills
- Instrumentation maintenance and calibration.
- Control system troubleshooting.
- Interpretation of technical manuals, control diagrams and system schematics.
