Intercontinental Hub Evidence Generation Lead (RWE)

About the role

The Intercontinental Hub (ICH) Evidence Generation Lead (RWE) will drive the integrated evidence generation strategy across emerging and high‑potential geographies. Reporting to the AVP of ICH Strategic Capabilities & Transformation, this senior position partners with Country Medical Directors and the IBU VEO to shape evidence priorities from early development through commercialization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Integrated Evidence Generation capability at ICH level, covering RWE, health outcomes research, IIR, and medical evidence governance.
• Coordinate cross‑affiliate RWE initiatives and ensure alignment with Lilly’s VEO framework.
• Define and prioritize evidence generation plans in collaboration with country medical heads.
• Serve as a scientific influencer across affiliates, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Represent the ICH function within the ICX Office and contribute to strategic transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MSc or equivalent) with extensive experience in evidence generation.
• 10+ years of commercial experience in sales, marketing or medical functions within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven expertise in designing and executing innovative RWE and observational/epidemiologic studies.
• Strong scientific communication skills with the ability to translate complex data for diverse audiences.
