Internal Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Internal Procurement Officer to support Reef Group and its subsidiaries in Riyadh. The role involves managing local procurement activities, processing purchase requests, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process internal procurement requests from various departments according to established policies.
• Review purchase requests to confirm specifications, quantities, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Obtain quotations from local suppliers and compare them on price, quality, delivery time, and payment terms.
• Issue purchase orders and verify accuracy of specifications, quantities, and agreed terms.
• Coordinate with suppliers to monitor order status, delivery schedules, and compliance.
• Work with warehouses and requesting departments to ensure proper receipt of materials and services.
• Track and resolve delays, discrepancies, pricing issues, and escalate to the Internal Procurement Manager as needed.
• Maintain records of purchase requests, orders, supplier information, and delivery status in the relevant systems.
• Support supplier evaluation based on quality, pricing, delivery performance, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with Finance to follow up on invoices and payments according to procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or a similar role.
