IT Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The IT Infrastructure Engineer will act as the primary authority for all infrastructure decisions across assigned projects. You will ensure that solutions meet business needs, technical standards, and long‑term sustainability while driving delivery excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure scope from design through validation and hand‑over, guaranteeing timelines, milestones and quality.
• Lead vendor and system‑integrator engagements, reviewing and approving deliverables and enforcing contractual obligations.
• Review and approve architecture designs, high‑level and low‑level documents, ensuring consistency and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate across infrastructure, application and security domains to validate integration readiness and manage dependencies.
• Complete all infrastructure deliverables, documentation and knowledge transfer before transition to operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a proven record of leading large‑scale project delivery.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making and vendor‑management capabilities.
• Deep understanding of design reviews, governance and cybersecurity/regulatory frameworks.
