IT Support & Venue Technology Specialist (7‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support & Venue Technology Specialist to deliver end‑to‑end technical support for stadiums and tournament venues in Riyadh. This 7‑month fixed‑term contract covers venue preparation, technology testing, rehearsals and live football tournament operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line IT help‑desk support to venue teams, contractors and operational stakeholders.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
• Resolve hardware, software, Microsoft 365, email, user‑access, network, Wi‑Fi and connectivity issues.
• Log, prioritize and track incidents via the designated ticketing system.
• Set up and test IT equipment in stadium offices, accreditation areas, workforce centres, meeting rooms and control rooms.
• Operate the venue IT help desk during live events, responding immediately to match‑day incidents.
• Coordinate with network, telecommunications, audiovisual and access‑control teams as needed.
• Maintain live incident logs, arrange work‑arounds and escalation support.
• Prepare, issue, track and recover IT assets; keep accurate asset registers and inventory reports.
• Ensure compliance with IT security, cybersecurity and data‑protection policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support or help‑desk environments.
• Previous experience supporting stadiums, football tournaments or major live events is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and extended hours during match days.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Experience troubleshooting wired networks, Wi‑Fi, VPN and general connectivity issues.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices.
• IT asset management and inventory control.
