IT System Engineer – Microsoft 365 & Identity

About the role

We are looking for an IT System Engineer specialized in Microsoft 365 and identity management. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining both on‑premises and cloud identity solutions, ensuring security, compliance, and optimal user experience across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Active Directory Domain Services, including domain controllers, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, and health monitoring.
• Deploy and manage Azure AD Connect (Microsoft Entra Connect) for hybrid identity, handling sync rules, PTA, PHS, and federation.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID: user and group lifecycle, dynamic groups, Conditional Access, MFA, password‑less authentication, and Identity Governance.
• Oversee the full Microsoft 365 tenant – Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Viva – including licensing, governance, and adoption.
• Configure email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and Defender for Office 365 features such as Safe Links and Safe Attachments.
• Administer Microsoft Intune for device compliance and Microsoft Purview for DLP, sensitivity and retention labels.
• Develop automation scripts with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API; manage Power Platform environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 in an enterprise setting.
• Proven expertise in Azure AD Connect, hybrid identity scenarios, and cloud identity governance.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).
