IT Technician – Field Operations & Hardware Support

About the role

Help AG is seeking a dedicated IT Technician to support on‑site IT operations across multiple locations. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, as well as assisting engineers during deployment and testing phases.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and document complete device inventories, including IP addresses, OS versions and functions.
• Prepare and install physical IT equipment such as servers and network devices, including rack mounting, cabling, power connections and labeling.
• Perform cabling, labeling and patch‑management within designated cabinets.
• Support basic configuration of IT equipment and security agents under engineer guidance.
• Participate in functional testing, validate site readiness and maintain accurate documentation.
• Adhere to health, safety and compliance standards during all field activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in IT support, field services or system installation.
• Certification or clearance to access energy sites; safety certification for critical sites is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to travel frequently.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities; Arabic language is a plus.
