Junior Accountant – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support our daily accounting operations. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate financial records, assist with transactions, and contribute to month‑end and year‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process daily financial transactions promptly.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice preparation and payment processing.
• Perform bank, credit‑card and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and prepare financial reports.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Assist with journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and audit documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address accounting issues and support process improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or related roles.
• Degree, diploma or coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems or other financial management platforms.
• Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and general ledger processes.
