Kitchen Steward – Ultra‑Luxury Hospitality Property

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Kitchen Steward to join the back‑of‑house team at a prestigious ultra‑luxury hospitality property in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will ensure the kitchen environment meets the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organization, supporting chefs and the wider kitchen staff.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, and cutlery to premium standards.
• Maintain spotless kitchen work areas, floors, walls, and storage spaces.
• Operate dishwashing machines and perform manual washing when required.
• Assist chefs with basic preparation tasks as needed.
• Manage proper waste storage and disposal in line with hygiene regulations.
• Support inventory checks for kitchen equipment and supplies.
• Follow all health, safety, and food‑hygiene standards, including HACCP.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Kitchen Steward, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Experience in a Sri Lankan luxury hospitality property is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.

Required skills

• Dishwashing machine operation.
• Sanitization and cleaning procedures.
• Food safety compliance (HACCP).
