Land Surveyor

About the role

WSP is looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join its supervision consultancy team on a large‑scale infrastructure development located about 100 km north of Jeddah. The role involves performing and verifying survey activities that support construction, ensuring precise alignment and positioning of roads, utilities and other civil works.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out land‑surveying tasks for infrastructure construction and verify survey data.
• Establish and maintain control points, benchmarks and reference markers on site.
• Check contractor survey layouts, setting‑out works and as‑built records against project drawings.
• Survey road networks and multi‑utility systems such as water, gas, storm‑water, sewage, power, lighting and telecom.
• Maintain accurate documentation of measurements, survey data and site records.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineers and discipline engineers to ensure correct execution of works.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of land‑surveying experience on infrastructure projects, especially roadworks and utility networks.
• Previous experience in a consultancy supervision role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to keep precise survey records.
