About the role
Rotana Hotels & Resorts is seeking a motivated Laundry Order Taker to ensure guest laundry requests are handled promptly and to the highest standards. You will act as the primary point of contact for guests and staff, coordinating pick‑up, delivery and billing of laundry services.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and log guest laundry requests, phone calls and special instructions.
- Coordinate pick‑up and delivery of garments, ensuring timely service.
- Inspect, sort and prepare cleaned items for guest collection.
- Record laundry charges and post them to guest accounts using the Micros system.
- Report any loss, damage or equipment issues to the Laundry Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized laundry area and assist with office paperwork.
Required profile
- Vocational training or experience in laundry operations.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
- Customer‑focused attitude with strong attention to detail.
