Legal Counsel (FMCG)

About the role

The Legal Counsel will provide legal advisory across international markets to support the company's business expansion. This high‑impact position offers significant ownership and autonomy within a leading FMCG organization based in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on commercial transactions, strategic initiatives, and day‑to‑day business activities across international markets.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, partnership, and service contracts.
• Support contract negotiations by identifying legal risks and recommending practical solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with commercial transactions and business operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and corporate governance requirements across international markets.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide timely legal guidance to business stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in corporate law, commercial law, transactions or a related legal field.
• Experience in international commercial transactions, contract negotiations and legal risk assessments across multiple markets.
• Strong knowledge of commercial agreements, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract management and transaction structuring.
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
