Legal Officer

About the role

The Legal Officer will support the Governance and Legal Division by assisting Legal Advisors and the Head of Advisory in all phases of corporate transactions. This position involves preparing legal documents, conducting statutory research, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for J-B and its subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, service agreements, resolutions, and other legal documents.
• Gather information for court, tribunal filings, and commercial agreements.
• Research statutes, regulations, and court decisions to provide accurate legal advice.
• Prepare materials and filings for specific matters, supporting senior legal staff.
• Verify powers of attorney and constitutional documents.
• Support administrative and regulatory matters across the organization.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or 1‑2 years of experience in corporate legal work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
• High ethical standards, strong analytical and strategic thinking.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, tactful, mature and flexible.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications.
