Legal Specialist – Logistics & Transportation

About the role

The Legal Specialist will support the company by providing expert legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, and managing disputes within the logistics and transportation sector. This role ensures compliance with Saudi regulations and protects the organization’s legal interests.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review logistics, transportation, warehousing, supplier and customer agreements.
• Represent the company in courts, judicial and quasi‑judicial authorities.
• Prepare legal memoranda, pleadings, responses and objections.
• Provide legal counsel to internal departments.
• Manage financial claims, enforcement proceedings, promissory notes and settlements.
• Investigate violations and complaints, offering legal recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi laws applicable to logistics and transportation.
• Produce periodic legal reports and maintain accurate contract and case records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Prior experience in logistics, transportation or supply‑chain companies.
• Strong background in contract drafting, litigation and case management.
• In‑depth knowledge of Saudi laws such as the Land Transport Law, Civil Transactions Law, Commercial Courts Law, Evidence Law, Enforcement Law, Labor Law, Commercial Maritime Law and customs regulations.
• Familiarity with the Najiz platform and other government portals.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Proficient English for contract review and legal correspondence.
• Valid Saudi legal practice license is a plus.
